Working principle of building energy storage phase change materials:

• The working principle of building energy storage phase change materials is based on the phase change process of matter. When the ambient temperature is higher than the phase change temperature of the phase change material, the material will change from a solid to a liquid state, absorbing a large amount of heat in the process.

• When the ambient temperature is lower than the phase transition temperature, the material changes from liquid to solid, and at the same time, heat is released.

• During this phase transition, the material is able to absorb or release tens or even hundreds of times more heat than when the temperature of its single phase changes.

1. High energy storage density

• Phase change energy storage materials can absorb or release a lot of heat during the phase change process, and their heat storage density is much higher than that of traditional building materials, such as concrete and bricks.

• This means that at the same volume or mass, phase-change energy storage materials can store more energy.

• In the process of multiple phase change cycles, the properties of the material remain stable, and energy can be effectively stored and released for a long time.

• Can be combined with a variety of building materials, such as gypsum board, concrete, wallboard and so on.
