All-Weather Adaptive Building Phase Change Energy Storage Constant Temperature Control Material
How Phase change materials work:
1. Energy storage and release mechanism
- Take architectural applications as an example, during the day, when the solar radiation makes the indoor temperature rise, the phase change material installed in the building wall or roof and other parts of the phase change temperature, will absorb heat and phase change, so as to store heat. This will prevent the indoor temperature from getting too high and reduce the use of air conditioning.
- At night, when the ambient temperature decreases, the phase change material begins to solidify, releasing the stored heat so that the indoor temperature will not be too low and play the role of insulation.
2. Recycling of phase change materials
- The phase transition process of a phase change material is usually reversible, which means that it can be used many times in a cycle of absorbing and releasing heat. As long as the phase change material does not undergo chemical changes or physical damage, such as leakage, decomposition, etc., it can continue to play its function of energy storage and temperature regulation.
