Description

1.3mm insect nets mainly for control of Cabbage Root Fly and Carrot Root Fly.​

Insect net was proven to be by far the most effective way to control Cabbage Root Fly. Creating a physical barrier it worked regardless of temperature, moisture levels and the proximity of the field to other susceptible crops and pests.

Crop quality and tonnes packed per Ha are hugely increased by using net and in some instances the increase was by as much as 40%.

During the past 12 years we have seen a huge increase in the use of insect net on many other crops such as baby leaf, cabbage, radish, spring greens and organics.
