Mini SDI Over Fiber Optic Extender is dedicated to the HD / SD-SDI video and embedded audio and RS485 data via multimode fiber cables ideal, economical transmission equipment. SDI Over Fiber Optic Extender uses leading digital fiber optic transmission technology, in a single-mode optical fiber’s transmission distance, it transmite a way SD / HD-SDI video signals.In simple, a mini SDI Over Fiber Optic Extender systems, Transmitter for sending, Receiver for reception.PTE292M, SMPTE259M standards, as well as DVB-ASI (, such as a digital television signal formats.

It allows HD-SDI signal to be transmitted up to 60m / 200ft via CAT5/CAT6 cable in a point-to-point configuration. The SDI-UTP Extender supports video bandwidth up to 1.485 Gbps uncompressed, un-encrypted digital video (optionally including embedded Audio and/or Time Code) , widely applied to television facilities and professional video equipment.
