430 Stainless Steel Introduction
Type 430 is one of the most widely used of the “non-hardenable” ferritic stainless steels. It combines good corrosion resistance and heat and oxidation resistance up to 1500°F (816°C) with good mechanical properties.
430 Stainless Steel Usage
The following are the applications for stainless steel grade 430:
• Dish washer linings
• Refrigerator cabinet panels
• Element supports and fasteners
• Stove trim rings and chimney liners
• Automotive trim and lashing wires
SS 430 Surface Finish:
2b, Ba, No. 1, No.4,No. 8, 8k, etc
