ASTM C12200 Phosphorus Deoxidized Copper Tube For Air Condition Or Refrigerator
1. Description
ASTM c12200 is a phosphorous deoxidized brass. It has good weldability and cold bending properties, and generally does not have the tendency of "hydrogen disease". It can be processed and used in reducing atmosphere, but not in oxidizing atmosphere.
In Chinese standards, this brand includes TP1 and TP2. See the table below for details. The residual phosphorus content of TP1 is less than that of TP2, so its conductivity and thermal conductivity are higher than that of TP2.
TP1 and TP2 are mainly used for pipeline applications, and ASTM c12200 phosphorus deoxidized copper pipes are used for gasoline or gas transmission tubes, drainage tubes, condensing tubes, ore tubes, condensers, evaporators, heat exchangers and train box components.
