Key Steps Of Die Casting Service

1. Mold Creation: A two-part mold (die) is made, typically from steel or other durable materials, and is designed to accommodate the shape of the part being produced. The die is usually split into two halves, allowing it to open for removal of the finished part.

2. Melting the Metal: The metal is heated to a molten state in a furnace and then poured into a shot chamber.

3. Injection: The molten metal is injected into the die under very high pressure, often between 10,000 to 20,000 psi. This pressure ensures that the metal fills all parts of the mold, even in intricate designs.

4. Cooling: After injection, the molten metal quickly cools and solidifies in the die.

5. Ejection: Once the part has cooled and solidified, the die is opened, and the part is ejected.

6. Finishing: The die-cast part may undergo additional processes such as trimming, machining, or surface treatment to achieve the final design specifications.
