Overview
The CE-L36CQ-FD provides a maximum of 36 100GE, 36 40GE, 144 25GE, or 144 10GE optical ports for data access and processing.
The CE-L36CQ-FD can be installed in:
Slots 1 to 4 of the CE12804 chassis, as shown in Slot layout in the CE12804 chassis
Slots 1 to 8 of the CE12808 chassis, as shown in Slot layout in the CE12808 chassis
Slots 1 to 12 of the CE12812 chassis, as shown in Slot layout in the CE12812 chassis
Slots 1 to 16 of the CE12816 chassis, as shown in Slot layout in the CE12816 chassis
Slots 1 to 4 of the CE12804S chassis, as shown in Slot layout in the CE12804S chassis
Slots 1 to 8 of the CE12808S chassis, as shown in Slot layout in the CE12808S chassis
When using 2200 W DC power modules working in N+N backup mode, the CE12804 chassis, CE12808 chassis, and CE12812 chassis support a maximum of 3, 6, and 10 CE-L36CQ-FD/CE-L36CQ-FG/CE-L36CQ-FD1/CE-L36CQ-SD cards respectively, limited by the output power of the power modules.
For the CE12808S running V200R002C50 or an earlier version, if CE-SFUF-S SFUs or CE-SFUF1-S SFUs are installed only in slots 13 and 14 and no SFU is installed in slots 11 and 12, a newly installed CE-L36CQ-FD card cannot be registered. In V200R003C00 and later versions, a newly installed CE-L36CQ-FD card can be registered in this scenario, but there are the following limitations:
In this case, change the SFU slots and install an SFU in slot 11 or 12. Alternatively, install more SFUs, or replace the SFUs with CE-SFUG-S.
The interfaces using chips 0 and 5 on the CE-L36CQ-FD card are in Error-Down state. The interfaces are 100GE interfaces 0 to 5 and 100GE interfaces 30 to 35.
The protocol packets proactively sent by chips 1 to 4 on the CE-L36CQ-FD card need to be forwarded by chip 0. Because chip 0 cannot communicate with SFUs, the interfaces using chips 1 to 4 on the CE-L36CQ-FD card fail to send protocol packets. As a result, services are interrupted.
