SIMATIC S7-1500 Compact CPU CPU 1511C-1 PN, central processing unit with work memory 175 KB for program and 1 MB for data, 16 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs, 5 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 6 high-speed counters, 4 high-speed counters for PTO/PWM/frequency output 1st interface: PROFINET IRT with 2-port switch, 60 ns bit performance, incl. push-in front connector, SIMATIC Memory Card required

The CPUs of theSIMATIC S7-1500T support advanced Motion Control functions in addition to the Motion Control functions offered by the
standard CPUs. Additional Motion Control functions are absolute synchronous axes (synchronization with specification of synchronous position) and the cam. For effective commissioning, diagnostics and fast optimization of drives and controls, the SIMATIC S7-1500 controller family offers extensive trace functions for CPU tags.

Note:
In order to dissipate glitch impulses, the positioner must be connected to an equipotential bonding cable (earth potential) using a low resistance. The positioner in the Makrolon enclosure is therefore equipped with an additional cable. Connect the this cable to the shield of the bus cable and the equipotential bonding cable using a cable clamp.

Devices in the stainless steel or aluminum enclosure have a corresponding terminal on the outer side of the enclosure. This terminal must also be connected to the equipotential bonding cable. For applications in hazardous areas, ensure an adequately suitable equipotential bonding between the hazardous and non-hazardous areas.
