Product Description
The DS200SLCCG2A is a LAN (local area network) communication board. General Electric developed this board as a member of the Mark V series of drive boards. A range of drives across the GE brand are designed to have this board installed in its drive cabinet. Required LAN interfacing processing space is available to the host when this board is installed. The board includes the circuitry necessary for DLAN network communications.

When installing the DS200SLCCG2A board, the host drive is provided with both nonisolated and isolated communications circuits. The main component found on the board is the LAN control processor (LCP). This processor is used to filter and process signals sent to the board. Two detachable EPROM memory cartridges are also included for the LCP. These provide the space needed for LCP program memory. The board also features a dual ported RAM. This provides the necessary interfacing space between the LCP and the host’s drive control board. Users can access a number of system features and diagnostics via the attachable programmer. This alphanumeric keypad easily connects to the board.

Any device shipped from AX Control will be wrapped in a static resistant protective plastic bag. Device installation should not begin until all provided storage and installation parameters are reviewed. DS200SLCCG2A should only be handled by users trained in using drive boards.
