The Allen-Bradley 22B-D6P0N104 is a compact AC drive from the PowerFlex 40 series, designed for industrial applications requiring low-speed torque through sensorless vector control. It operates with a 480V AC, 50-60 Hz, 3-phase input, and delivers a power output of 2.2 kW (3.0 HP) and 6.0 Amps. This panel-mounted drive, housed in an IP20, NEMA/UL open-type enclosure with a B frame size, is ideal for controlling fans, pumps, conveyors, machine tools, and material handling systems.

The drive features StepLogic, allowing it to function as an independent position controller. Integration with Logix control simplifies programming and reduces development time. The 22B-D6P0N104 is CE-marked and approved by UL, CUL, EAC, and KCC standards. It offers robust motor protection with Class 10 ratings, providing 150% overload protection for 60 seconds and 200% for 3 seconds, alongside a 200% hardware limit and 300% instantaneous fault protection for overcurrent safety. The minimum control ride-through time is 0.5 seconds, and ground fault protection enhances reliable operation. Its MOV is adaptable for compatibility with ungrounded systems and comes with an internal IGBT brake for dynamic braking.

With Volts/Hertz control, the drive maintains a consistent torque and excellent speed control by keeping the motor frequency proportional to the voltage. Sensorless Vector Control allows the drive to deliver high starting torque and varying torque across its speed range, making it versatile for both general-purpose and varying load applications. The drive also supports Process PID control for maintaining automatic process control and StepLogic for position control functions.

The drive accepts an input voltage range of 342-528V (3-phase), providing a motor output of 6.0 Amps and a power output of 2.2 kW (3.0 HP). It includes an internal IGBT brake, a fixed keypad, an LCD display, and an embedded RS485 communication interface for network connectivity.
