7075 aluminum alloy is a cold treatment forging alloy, high strength, far better than mild steel. 7075 is one of the strongest alloys commercially available. General corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties and anode reaction. The fine grain makes the deep drilling performance better, the tool wear resistance is enhanced, and the thread rolling is more distinctive. Zinc is the main alloying element in 7075, adding magnesium to the alloy containing 3%-7.5% zinc can form MgZn2 with remarkable strengthening effect, so that the heat treatment effect of the alloy is much better than that of al-zinc binary alloy. With the increase of zinc and magnesium content, the tensile strength will be further improved, but the resistance to stress corrosion and spalling corrosion will be decreased. After heat treatment, very high strength characteristics can be achieved. 7075 materials are generally added a small amount of copper, chromium and other alloys, the 7075-T651 aluminum alloy in particular, known as the best aluminum alloy products, high strength, far better than any mild steel. The alloy also has good mechanical properties and anode reaction. Representative applications are aerospace, mold processing, mechanical equipment, fixture, especially for the manufacture of aircraft structure and other requirements of high strength, strong corrosion resistance of high stress structure.
