Description of Car Shock Absorber
The normal shock absorber works based on the principle of hydraulic damping. During the compression stroke, the axle approaches the frame, and the piston moves downward, forcing the oil in the lower chamber to flow into the upper chamber through the flow valve. At the same time, due to the space occupied by the piston rod, part of the oil flows back to the oil reservoir through the compression valve, forming a compression damping force.
During the extension stroke, the axle moves away from the frame, and the piston moves upward, causing the oil pressure in the upper chamber to rise. The oil pushes open the extension valve and enters the lower chamber. Meanwhile, the oil in the oil reservoir replenishes the vacuum in the lower chamber through the compensation valve, generating a greater extension damping force.
Through the oil flow and valve control in both strokes, the mechanical vibration is converted into heat energy and dissipated. In this way, it can effectively suppress the spring rebound and ensure the smoothness and comfort of the vehicle during driving.
