Damping force supply
The shock absorber can generate damping forces in the opposite direction of the vehicle suspension system. When the vehicle is driving on the uneven road surface, the suspension spring will be compressed and stretched, and the damping force of the shock absorber can control the movement speed of the spring to avoid excessive compression or tensile spring rebound too fast.
For example, when the car passes a raised road surface, the wheels move upward, and the suspension spring is compressed, the shock absorber will generate a downward damping force to slow down the compression speed of the spring; When the wheel passes over the bump, the spring begins to rebound, and the shock absorber will produce an upward damping force to control the rebound speed of the spring.
