Shore D hardness 59 filled PTFE banded shock absorber piston applied in automotive
TEST | METHOD | RESULT |
TENSILE STRENGTH | ASTM 4894 | 20 N/mm2 |
ELONGATION AT BREAK | ASTM 4894 | 300% |
DENSITY | ASTM 4894 | 2.23±0.03gr/cm3 |
SHORE D HARDNESS | ASTM 4894 | 57±3 |
Fluid attack:
A diameter and hardness control is carried out on the band, placed on the piston. Once the PTFE process has been carried out and before 24 hours have elapsed, it is immersed in the fluid for 72 hours at 80 ℃
Acceptance Conditions:
There can be no breakage or detachment of material. The variation of hardness ≤6%, the diameter variation ≤0.20%
Specifications:
100% tested by Go no-Go gauge
Coaxiality can be control within 0.05mm
4 round and square holes
conventional shock piston
net weight is 25.29g
we can do drawing load test for banded piston without band slippage after test.

We will bring you pistons with good quality and competitive price.
Applications:
Car or motorbike shock absorbers
Competitive Advantage:
XIAYI can produce bands rings to low down the cost and control the quality at home, at the same time we
can design and produce automatic banding machine and non-standard testing machine, can test drawing
force testing and oil immersion testing.
