PTFE's chemical properties are extremely stable, and its corrosion resistance is particularly good. The surface of the PTFE tube wall is smooth and moderately flexible, and it vibrates slightly when used, so it is not easy to scale. The PTFE heater is small in size and compact in structure. The heat transfer area per unit volume of the equipment is more than 4 times that of the shell and tube heater of the metal tube. The flexible PTFE tube can work safely under the impact and vibration of the fluid, and the tube bundle can be made into various special shapes as required. PTFE has a low thermal conductivity, poorer mechanical properties than metals, and is not resistant to high temperatures. The use of small diameters and thin tube walls compensates for thermal conductivity and mechanical properties, but it can only be used in lower pressure and lower temperature applications.
The production of PTFE steam heaters and PTFE hot water heaters has become more and more mature, and is widely used in corrosive industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, pickling, etc.
PTFE heater
PTFE heater consists of heating element and two layers of Teflon cloth. The Teflon cloth includes a glass fiber substrate layer, a Teflon coating and a silicone rubber layer.
The heater is very popular in the industry and has the advantages of not easy to wear, good insulation, easy to clean, safe and reliable, etc.
Features
1. The heater has excellent acid and corrosion resistance, and is not easy to produce chemical reactions.
2. Continuous working temperature can reach 250 ℃.
3. Resistant to atmospheric aging and radiation, as well as low permeability
4. Low dielectric loss, high breakdown voltage and long working life
5. Customized products avaliable for different needs
Applications
PTFE heaters are mainly used in:
Heating on pipelines in semiconductor workshops,
Tank and barrel heating;
Suitable for heating of surface treatment processes, such as electroplating, electrolysis, acid bath, aluminum polishing, degreasing, anodizing, etc.;
It is suitable for clean heating in dust-free workshops requiring sanitary grade.
