MC-ER1185A/B is two-component transparent epoxy resin compound that cures at room temperature and high temperature. MC-ER1185A/B features with medium mixing viscosity (4500Cps), good de-aeration; long working time at room temperature, low heat release, anti-yellow; excellent mechanical properties after curing .

Applications of MC-ER1185A/B Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin

Using Instruction of ratio 1:1 clear epoxy resin:

1.Determine how much epoxy resin you’ll need

2.Accurately measure both resin and hardener ,measure resin part A and part B hardener according to the given volume ratio (1:1) into the prepared cleaned container

3.Fully and gently mix the mixture for 3 minutes by clockwise to avoid incomplete curing. make sure that you scraped the bottom and sides of container. When the temperature is below 15 ℃, please heat part A to 25 ℃ first and then mix it with part B (part A will be thicken in low temperature )

4. you can colour your Epoxy resin by Adding mica powder, Acrylic paint.

5. After stirring, wait for 3~5 minutes to let the air bubbles disappear, then pouring the epoxy into the mold, the working time is around 30~40 minutes.

6.The cure time is very different from the working time, de-mould time . It’s important to consider ambient air temperature as it can play a significant role in how long your epoxy resin takes to reach its full mechanical and physical properties.

you can expect your project to reach its full cure in 3 days. in cold weather, you may need to wait for one week.

Precautions

1. The products must be stored in a closed and airtight environment under the condition of 25°C relative humidity <70%.

2. Since part B is easy to absorb water vapor and lead to deterioration, the packaging barrel must be tightly sealed with the cover.

3. The more the amount mixed together, the faster the reaction will be, the faster the curing speed will be, and it may be accompanied by a lot of heat, please pay attention to control the mixing amount at one time, because due to the accelerated reaction, its use time will also be shortened, and the mixed glue should be used up in a short time as much as possible;

4. During the curing process, please keep the environment clean to prevent impurities or dust from falling onto the surface of the uncured glue

5. When using the product, glasses and other necessary labor protection supplies are recommended.
