Silicone diverter valve also belongs to duckbill valve series. It has the same functions and advantages of duckbill valve and is widely used in the market.

Compared with the traditional duckbill valve, its main advantage is that the 4-point valve head can be opened.

Silicone diverter valves, on the other hand, also have a non-tortuous straight flow path, so they can be used in applications where the instrument is pushed into the valve.

For example in Trocar for minimally invasive surgical procedures. Insertion or removal of the instrument from the trocar prevents gas from being expelled from the body cavity. A particular problem associated with post-use seals is when combining instruments of various diameters and high back pressure. The larger the diameter range, the greater the pressure and the greater the insertion force.
