Anti aging medical absorbable pdo barbed thread with needle suture
PDO Thread is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of polydioxanone. Absorable suture pdo threads lift are used to perform cardiothoracic surgery (such as open-heart surgery). It’s one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body. Your skin fully absorbs it within 4 to 6 months & won’t leave you with any scar tissue.
HOW DO THE PDO THREADS WORK?
The PDO 4d cog liting thread sutures have “barbs” or “cogs”, which provide a grip underneath the skin. Absorbable pdo needle Sutures are inserted the same way, except they can be pulled in 1 or 2 directions, creating an instant skin repositioning. Results appear naturally, without any drastic change.
Mono threads are smooth threads without barbs. Many of these thread types are placed into the face in a mesh-like fashion for skin tightening effect. Skin tightening usually improves after collagen starts forming around the threads. The beaty lift PDO thread treatment areas are often necklines, neck sagginess, forehead and under eyes. Between 10 -20 mono threads are usually inserted for each treatment area. In order to sustain a lift, the threads are attached to an “anchoring point” of the scalp or face. Mono threads tighten the skin but without significant lifting; therefore they have to be used with cog threads for an overall improvement in face tightening and rejuvenation.

PDO thread tornado can come in the form of one or two threads intertwined together around the inserting needle. Screw tornado pdo thread has a great effect on giving volume effect on the sunken area of the skin. “Multi Screw” – when intertwining two threads are used – has a stronger effect over screw thread. Screw threads are usually used for general face-lifting.
Cog PDO face lift are essentially mono threads with barbs to hook to the underside of the skin. The barbs form a support structure that lifts the sagging tissue. Unlike mono threads, barbed 4d cog pdo thread do not need anchoring points. Collagen formation can also occur around the threads and their barbs. Cog threads are most effective for jawline lifting and slimming.
How is it done:
Absorbable suture PDO threads are placed under the skin to tighten and improve wrinkles and sagging areas
Use tornado sutures in areas where greater volume is required like nasolabial folds, lip margin, etc, mono threads as a mesh to support the tissue. The cog threads are not enough in the effective lift as over time get disintegrated it is always better to augment the lift effect of cog threads with a grid of mono threads as the overall collagen induction produces better lift over time.
PDO Threads are implanted into the sub-dermal skin and stimulate the production of collagen, the skin becomes firmer, elastic and moisturised. The absorable threads dissolvers itselfs in couple of months but the lifting effect last for 19-24 months. |
What is recovery like?
Since beauty equipment pdo thread is minimally-invasive, patients experience little or no downtime as the sutures dissolve. Full absorption typically occurs within 4 to 6 months and will not leave scar tissue. Patients experience little to no bruising.
