1 Product Description

Electric transfer cart is a kind of transport equipment for loading cargo, which can run both straightly and curvilinear along the track. It has the advantages of simple structure, convenient maintenance and large carrying capacity. It is widely applied for machinery manufacturing, metallurgy, assembly line, production line, ship industry (maintenance, assemble, container transportation), work piece transportation and warehouse to frequently transport or cooperate with cranes to transfer goods.

2 Transfer Cart Series

Electric Transfer Carts are mounted on steel rail for shuttling along a fixed path. They can be divided in different types according to different power supply mode, as below:
1. KPT type is Towed Transfer Cart, powered by the cable laid on the ground directly. For its simple structure, the price is more competitive. While the distance is often limited in 100 meter.
2. KPJ type is Cable Reel Transfer Cart, powered by the cable from the cable reel. With the cable reel, the moving distance is improved to 200 meter compared with the KPT type.
3. KPX type is Battery Transfer Cart, powered by the storage battery. Without the cable, this kind of transfer cart is more flexible and safe. While the capacity and the duty group are all affected by the storage battery. Especially, the price and the life span of the battery is also an important issue.
4. KPC type is powered by the slide wire along the rail, so the moving distance is unlimited. The slide wire is the key point and also the weakest link.
5. KPD type is powered by the low voltage DC power from the rail. Powered by the rail, the system is more reliable compared with the KPC type; the system is also more complicated and expensive.

Application

The KPD Electric Transfer Cart is powered by rail, used for heavy duty load, high using frequency and meet full automation demand.

This series transfer cart is generally running on straight rails, but it also can be specially used both on the 'S' and arc-shaped railways to carry many different kinds of stuff. They also can used in high temperature. In aditional, hydraulic elevator system and lifting system can be special designed above the table surface.

So it is mainly applied in assembly line, production line, metallurgy industry, warehouse transportation, ship industry (maintenance, assemble, container transportation), work piece transportation, lathe transportation, steel factory (steel billet, steel plate, steel coil, steel pipe, section steel structure), construction (bridge, simple building, concrete column), petroleum industry (oil pump, sucker rod and parts), energy (polycrystalline silicon, generator, windmill), chemical industry (electrolytic cell, retort), railway (rail maintenance, rail welding, train tractor), shipyard, etc.
