Gantry crane is a kind of boom crane which is supported on the ground track or foundation by the outriggers on both sides. It has three characteristics: running along the ground track, lifting device installed on the portal frame, and vehicle passing below. It is widely used in ports and large ships. Floating dock is an engineering ship used for repairing and building ships. It can be used not only for repairing and building ships, but also for salvaging sunken ships, transporting deep-water ships through shallow water channels, etc. The floating dock has a special structure, with a huge concave cross section, walls on both sides, and open front and rear ends. It is a kind of trough shaped flat bottomed ship with special structure. Gantry cranes are generally installed on the top deck of the dock wall of the floating dock. Due to the characteristics of the top deck of the dock wall, such as strong wind, high working height, and high potential electric shock, the existing gantry cranes must be technically modified to ensure their safety and reliability.

Package and Delivery

Packaging:

1. Electric parts are packed by high quality plywood crate, to reduce distortion in conveying;
2. Main beams, end beams and electric hoist are packed by plastic woven cloth. It can reduce abrasion when transport.
Shipping:
(1) If the size of whole crane are suitable for container ship, usually by container;
(2) If the size is too big, usually by bulk ship or by container after truncation;
(3) Transport ways are based on reducing cost for you and keep the crane performance.
