SINOSECU Identity Passport Verification Scanner is used to capture white, infrared images and save the image to the configurable path. And some features are optional such as RFID chip reading and the UV image. , as shown in the following picture. And the UV is for the document authentic check.

The Passport Reader device captures white, infrared image and ultraviolet image from various kind of documents. In a simultaneous action, the passport reader also decodes the machine readable zone (MRZ) and processes eData, including name, data of birth, gender, document number, date of expiry, the holder's image etc, from the chip.

Generally Speaking, it will take about 2 seconds to capture the images and extract the printed data through OCR technology and read the chip data from contactless RFID chip. Its unique design makes it ideal for integration with self-serve type kiosks at airports, hotels, banks, transportation terminals.

MRZ(machine readable zone) encrypts the basic ID info of ID holder, such as name, ID number, gender, nationality, birthday...
