Normally all Stainless steel pleated filter element are supported with coarser filter media to ensure any direct damages to main filtering media under process upsets. A bubble point tests can be done to certify that no opening larger than the specified pore size exist in product joints or seams. No media migration due to stainless steel material. These elements can be back washed & reused.

Stainless Steel Filter Wire Cloth is woven wire cloth made of stainless steel fine drawn wire. Fine woven micron mesh cloth usually works as control layer, while coarse woven mesh usually works as strengthening layer or support layer for the pleated filter elements.
