Wire Mesh Baskets Made From High-Quality Materials With Rubber Border
Our stainless steel wire mesh baskets are manufactured from industrial grade stainless steel to ensure superior performance and longevity. Metal wire baskets made from 304 stainless steel are ideally suited for applications using slightly caustic materials, while baskets manufactured with 316 stainless steel are a preferred choice when the most effective protection against corrosion is required.
General purpose wire mesh baskets are normally simple in design and of all-welded construction. We stock a wide range of the wire cloth usually specified for these stainless steel wire cloth baskets…so delivery is usually prompt. Handles may be swing or rigid, frames may be round, flat or rectangular bar stock. Baskets may have nesting handles or stacking clips. Recommended for light to medium service.

Frame Construction of wire mesh baskets
Certain baskets may be formed from woven wire cloth with no special hardware. However, where frames are required, round or rectangular, they may be constructed from rod, flat, or angle stock. Basket tops may be equipped with smooth finish “U” bindings. Built-in accessories may include legs, lids, shelves, dividers, compartments and sections. Baskets for small parts may be furnished with a small opening screen inner liner, with outer protection of heavy screen for strength. Assembly may be by welding, through fusion by spot, gas, or electric arc. Special cases may require clinched wire around rod, riveting of screen to frame, or soldering and brazing. After fabrication, woven wire baskets may be protected with zinc, tin, rubber, enamel or other suitable coating.
