ISO 6941 High Quality Flammability Test Chamber Textile Flammability Tester
Application:
The Textile Fabrics Flammability Tester is designed in accordance with ISO 6941:2003 "Measurement of flame spread properties of vertically oriented specimens". It is used to obtain the response characteristics of textile fabrics to flame shrinkage under controlled conditions and is suitable for testing the vertical burning performance of a wide range of single or multi-component (coated, quilted, multilayered, laminated products and similar combinations) textile fabrics and industrial products.
Principle:
Spray the flame of the specified burner on the vertically oriented surface or bottom edge of the textile specimen for 10 seconds. Record in seconds the flame spread time between the flame front and a marked line close to the surface of the specimen and three distances from the ignition flame.
