IEC 60598-1 Article 4.14.3 Power Cord Flexibility Test Equipment Bending Resistance Test
Product Information:
Standard: Clause 25.14 of IEC 60335-1 Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 1: General requirements, IEC 60598-1 Article 4.14.3.
Application: It is used to test the bending resistance of the power cord of household appliances when it enters the appliance, and to verify its reliability. The purpose of verifying that the luminaire regulating device does not stress, pinch, damage or twist the cord or cable more than 360° along the longitudinal axis during normal operation is to verify its interference with the cord or cable.
Test sample: Household appliances with power supply cords (such as electric irons) or household appliances with relative motion that need to be moved during work; hand-held electric tools; bracket or extension tube
