Metal Deburring Machine
General
The belt and disc metal deburring machine is equipped with two deburring discs and two edge rounding discs. The discs oscillate continuously over the workpiece during throughfeed. The interaction of the rotation with the large oscillation stroke leads to high quality deburring and edge rounding results. The large variety of disc tools available makes the machine very versatile
Properly cleaning the various parts and surfaces of your belt disc edger is an important step in ensuring its proper operation and extending its life. Here are some guidelines:
Turn off the machine: Before starting cleaning, make sure the disc edger is turned off and disconnected from the power source.
Remove residue: Use a brush or air pressure device to gently remove large particles of residue, such as metal shavings and dust, from machine surfaces and individual components. Loose residue can be picked up using a vacuum cleaner or air pressure device.
Cleaning fluid: Use a cleaning fluid appropriate for the material being used, such as deionized water, detergent, or a specialized metal cleaner. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations and instructions for use to ensure the correct detergent and concentration.
Avoid Damage: Avoid direct entry of cleaning fluid or water into the machine's interior or electrical components. Use a damp cloth or sprayer to spray cleaning liquid onto the cloth and gently wipe the machine's surfaces and parts.
Drying and Lubricating: After cleaning, carefully dry the machine's surfaces and components with a clean cloth or paper towel. For parts requiring lubrication, treat with an appropriate lubricant according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
Safety Guards and Safety Devices: Clean and inspect safety guards and safety devices to make sure they are clean, undamaged, and installed correctly.
