The screw conveyor is composed of three parts: the screw machine body, the material inlet and outlet and the drive device.
Screw machine body: composed of head bearing, tail bearing, suspension bearing, screw, casing, cover plate and base.
Driving device: composed of motor, reducer, coupling and base.
Working Principle
When the spiral shaft rotates, due to the gravity of the material and the friction between the material and the tank wall, the material can only be pushed along the conveyor.
The bottom of the groove moves forward. The movement of materials in the middle bearing depends on the thrust of materials moving forward behind. In order to keep the spiral shaft in a favorable tension state, the drive device and discharge port are generally placed at the same end of the conveyor, while the feed port is placed near the tail of the other end as far as possible.

Helical Blade Description
1. There are three types of spiral blades of screw conveyor: solid spiral, belt spiral and blade spiral. The solid spiral surface is called s method, and its spiral pitch GX is 0.8 times of the blade diameter. The LS type screw conveyor is suitable for conveying powdery and granular materials. The belt type spiral surface is also called the D method. Its spiral pitch is the same as the diameter of the spiral blade. It is suitable for conveying powdery and small pieces of materials. The blade type spiral surface is seldom used, and is mainly used to transport materials with high viscosity and compressibility. In the process of transportation, mixing and other processes are completed at the same time, and the spiral pitch is about 1.2 times of the diameter of the spiral blade.

Model description
The types of screw conveyor include horizontal fixed screw conveyor and vertical screw conveyor. Horizontal fixed screw conveyor is the most commonly used type.
