STS Prepaid Smart Electricity Meter With CIU Split Kepad Single Phase
Product introduction
The STE18-S is prepaid electricity meter with CIU,it is based on STS standard, with automatically connection/disconnection,high accuracy, accurate measurement, low maintenance workload, high work efficiency, low requirements for transportation and installation conditions, low power consumption, energy saving, good for reducing line loss, strong anti-power theft function, strong overload ability, low failure rateThe CIU is offered to enter recharge TOKEN and check information by short codes. Stronpay electricity vending software could be integrated to local mobile money payment platform like M-PESA, Alipay, MTN, Airtel, etc. So users can top up PAYG electricity by mobile money without leaving the house. The meter has excellent anti-tamper feature like terminal cover open detection sensor to help utility for revenue protection and consumer management. |
Basic functions and characteristics
High reliability | The accuracy remains unchanged for a long time, without wheel calibration, installation and transportation influence |
Accuracy | Wide range, wide power factor, start sensitive, etc |
TOU tariff | Utilities can set step price on request |
Prepayment | After payment, then users get electricity |
Anti-tamper | Meter will automatically close the valve after detection of magnetic field and open cover event |
Remote reading | By RF-LoRa to connect DCU for remote reading |
Cost performance | High cost performance, can be reserved expansion function, seldom affected by the price rise of raw materials |
Credit alarm | Alarm value can be set by inputting corresponding TOKEN.When the remaining electric quantity is less than the alarm quantity, the electricity meter often shows the remaining electric quantity to remind the user to buy electricity |
Data protection | Data protection adopts all solid state integrated circuit technology, and data can be kept for more than 10 years after power failure |
Automatic power off | When the remaining quantity in the electricity meter is zero, the electricity meter will trip automatically and cut off the power supply. Users should purchase electricity in time |
Electricity query | Use keypad to input codes to display the total electricity purchase, the number of electricity purchase, the last electricity purchase, the cumulative electricity consumption, the remaining electricity |
Overvoltage protection | When the actual load exceeds the set value, the meter will automatically cut off |

How to recharge by AMI System
The electricity meter sends information to the Data Concentrator via LORA-RF or PLC;The Data Concentrator contains Lora-RF/PLC and GPRS modules, which will transmit the information to the AMI through GPRS after receiving the information from the water meter. The AMI receives the information, performs remote recharge, and will generate the recharge TOKEN. It is then sent to the Data Concentrator via GPRS; Data Concentrator receives the information and sends it to the electricity meter via LORA-RF or PLC. |
