STE18-G is used in a wide range of intelligent metering applications.It combines the latest 3DES security encryption technology and modular communication unit.The meter allows a base current of 5A, while maintaining a maximum current of 80A and extending AMR/AMI features.It is a compact design in a BS8565 standard housing, and maintains a robust RF immune tolerance of 30V/m and IP54 rating, allowing it to work in harsh environments.
Moreover, this product belongs to the pre-paid electricity meter, which can help the supplier to manage the user's use of electricity and monitor the situation of electricity meter.It is convenient for suppliers to collect electricity charges and reduces the occurrence of users defaulting on electricity charges.Users can only use power if they pay in advance for the amount of power they need to use and enter TOKENS to recharge.
Our electricity meters can be topped up directly using the Stronpay vending software and can be topped up remotely via the LORA-RF and LORA-RF module communicating with the AMI system.AMI is Advanced Metering Infrastructure. AMI system is mainly composed of Smart Meter, communication system and equipment, Meter Database Management system, and Meter Database Management system.MDMS).
Main Features
1. 20 digit (Standard Transfer Specification) STS encryption
2. Detection of significant reverse energy (SRE)
3. IEC62056-21 compliant port allowing for easy data interrogation
4. Disconnects on overload and no credit
5. Dual power source working on both prepaid and credit mode
6. Programmable load limit and low credit warning
7. Detection and record tamper event such as cover open, reversal, black-out, etc.
8. Easy access to 12 months historical consumption data and last 5 token entered
User Benefit
1. Easy connection to User Interface Unit (UIU) for split type applications
2. PLC/ RF / GPRS wireless communication with a head-end AMR/AMI server
3. Time of Use (TOU), multi-tariff, holiday setting.
4. Advanced load control and disconnection features
How to recharge by AMI System? As shown in the figure below:
1. The electricity meter sends information to the Data Concentrator via LORA-RF or PLC;
2. The Data Concentrator contains Lora-RF/PLC and GPRS modules, which will transmit the information to the AMI through GPRS after receiving the information from the water meter.
3. The AMI receives the information, performs remote recharge, and will generate the recharge TOKEN.It is then sent to the Data Concentrator via GPRS;
4. Data Concentrator receives the information and sends it to the electricity meter via LORA-RF or PLC.
