FAQ:
Question: Are there plans for bigger TVs such as a 80?
Answer:
No, this does not work well on TV that are larger than what the manufacturer recommends. The problem is two-fold:

1) The camera cannot see the entire TV display. So, it won't be able to see the colors on the edge of the display and map them out to the light strip. Instead, it maps out colors in the middle of the display.

You can try to workaround this as others have by putting the camera on a stand far enough away from the TV display so that it can view the entire display. But, THIS LOOKS UGLY. Having a camera already looks ugly.

2) The LED strip itself only has enough LED lights for a 65" display or smaller. On larger TV's, you have to install the strips about 14" from the edge, so a lot of the light is blocked behind the TV instead of glowing out the edges.

You can try to workaround this as others have by moving your TV several feet away from the back wall but again, this is a weird ass way to set up your home theater. If your large TV is wall mounted, then forget it about it.
