Product features
The precision of the crystal varies greatly within the range of temperature, which will slow the clock (in some cases make the clock faster). For the most electronic applications, the RTC with the 32.768kHz tuning fork is the standard time reference. RTC determines the time and date by the second count, which requires a clock signal of the 1Hz from the 32.768kHz crystal oscillator.
