About rectifier
Rectifier bridge stack product is made of four rectifier silicon chips for bridge connection, external insulation plastic packaging, high-power rectifier bridge in the insulation layer to add zinc metal shell envelope, enhance heat dissipation.
As a kind of power component, bridge reactor is very extensive. Used in all kinds of power equipment. It is mainly composed of four internal diode bridge to achieve the input AC voltage into the output DC voltage.
Only two diodes work at the same time in each working cycle of the bridge stack. Through the unidirectional conduction function of the diodes, the alternating current is converted into a unidirectional DC pulsating voltage. By dissecting the commonly used low-power bridge stack, it is found that the full-wave bridge stack adopts the plastic package structure (most of the low-power bridge stacks adopt this package form) . The four main heating components in the bridge, the diodes, are divided into two groups and placed on the lead copper plate of the DC output. There are two connecting copper plates between the DC output pins, which are respectively connected to the input pins (AC input wires) , forming the full-wave bridge stack with four external connecting pins that we can see in appearance. Due to the use of plastic packaging structure, the surrounding of the diode, the lead copper plate, the connecting copper plate and the connecting wire are filled with the skeleton filling material, which is used as insulation and heat conduction, namely, the epoxy.
