Solar system electricity generation is a power generation system that operates independently without relying on the power grid. It is mainly composed of solar panels, energy storage batteries, inverters and other components. The electricity generated by the solar panel will be stored in the battery. When it is necessary to supply power to the appliance, the DC current in the battery is converted into 220V AC through the inverter. Because this solar off grid system is not limited by region, it is widely used. It can be installed and used in everywhere that have sunlight.

It is very suitable for remote areas without power grid, such as isolated islands, it can also be used as emergency power generation equipment.

Working Principles of The Whole System

1. During the day

  • The sun provides energy to solar system
  • Solar system provides electricity for the load by inverters (inver DC to AC)
  • Excess electricity is stored in ESS(energy storage system)
  • When the load power is high, ESS operates with PV system to provide electricity
  • ESS can also be charged by grid if possible

2. In the evening

  • ESS provides electricity

3. Energy storge plays an integral role in the solar off grid system.
