IP66 Small Size Slewing Gear, Self Locking IP66 For Solar Ground Mounting System
Slewing Gear Description
Compared with the traditional gear transmission, the worm gear transmission can obtain a relatively larger reduction ratio. In some cases, the reducer parts can be omitted for the main engine, thereby reducing the purchase cost for customers, and also greatly reducing the occurrence of main engine failure.
The worm gear slew drive has the characteristics of reverse self-locking, which can realize reverse self-locking, that is, the gear can only be driven by the worm. This feature makes the slew drive be widely used in solar energy, antenna, lifting, high-altitude operations and other equipment. While improving the scientific and technological content of the main engine, it also greatly improves the operation stability and safety factor of the main engine.

Q&A
Why does the received slewing drive make abnormal noise when it is powered on?
First of all, when the slewing drive is idling just after leaving the factory, because the motor or the slewing drive has not been completely run-in, there will be a small abnormal noise. This is a normal noise, and it will disappear automatically after running in for a period of time. If there is a loud noise, you need to troubleshoot as described below.
Uneven mounting surface and loose mounting bolts
When abnormal noise occurs, firstly, you need to confirm whether it is a problem with the installation operation. When the mounting surface is uneven or the mounting bolts are loose, the slewing bearing will be elastically deformed, and it is necessary to check immediately and tighten the bolts as required.
There is a foreign body in the slewing bearing
When there are foreign objects such as sand particles and iron filings inside the slewing bearing, non-periodic vibration will occur, and at the same time, there will be a failure of inflexible rotation. When this happens, it is necessary to clean the bearing, shaft, seat hole and matching parts before installation, and remove the foreign matter in the lubricant in time.
Abnormal noise caused by grease problem
The lack of grease in the raceway, uneven grease filling, poor quality and aging of grease, and wrong selection of lubricants will also cause abnormal noises in the excavator slewing bearing. To solve this problem, you only need to use lubricant, add it in time, and replace it in time.
