Slew Drive Gearbox Description
Slewing drive gearboxes are powered with hourglass worm technology for maximum gear torque and the smoothest rotation. We offer different slew drive models with different moment load capacities. The standard slew drives are fitted with an open housing and single self locking hourglass worm shaft. Once the power source input is returned to neutral, the worm shaft will lock the load into position without requiring any external braking device.

Install
Installation Preparations
1 Check the rotary reducer for physical damage. Clean the rotary reducer and connecting brackets. Clean the bearing surface of impurities (such as iron filings, burrs, paint, welding slag, etc.).
2 Please follow the instructions below to clean the anti-rust oil on the mounting surface of the rotary reducer.
2.1 Use cleaning fluid (such as diesel oil, gasoline, etc.) to clean the outside of the installation surface. The cleaning fluid cannot damage the performance of the rubber seal;
2.2 Please abide by the regulations for the use of cleaning fluids (such as manufacturer regulations, worker protection, environmental protection, etc.).
2.3 The positioning bolts cannot be loosened during installation, and the installation can only be carried out after the shipping bolts are removed.
