Self-Locking Electric Slewing Drives Reducer For 30 Year Field Life PV Tracking System
Self-Locking Electric Slewing Drives Description
Slewing drive or slewing ring can be treated as a gearbox because the core components are the slewing bearing and worm shaft. It also consists of auxiliary components such as seals, housing, and motor. The motor is usually DC planetary gear motor, AC gear motor or hydraulic motor.
The slewing drive device has the overall high protection and stability suitable for the harsh outdoor environment. The maintenance-free actuator slewing drive device has an overall protection level of not lower than IP65, and can operate stably for a long time in harsh outdoor environments.
Features
1. Reverse self-locking characteristic which greatly enhances the stability of the system and increase safety factor.
2. Easy to install, easy to maintain, and saves considerable installation space
3. Adopts hourglass worm technology which provides more tooth contact, thus higher torque
4. The harden processing technology to increase the slewing drive's field life.

Applications
The advent of the era of affordable Internet access has prompted investment companies to adopt various new technologies to reduce the cost of electricity. The tracking bracket is a new technology that has been favored in the past one or two years and can reduce the cost of electricity.
Types of PV Tracking Mounts
There are roughly five types of photovoltaic power station brackets:
1) Best inclination fixed type (the most widely used before)
2) Flat single-axis tracking type (the most widely used tracking bracket at present)
3) Inclined single axis tracking type
4) Dual axis tracking type
5) Fixed adjustable type (the amount of application is second only to the fixed bracket, and it is also divided into various forms
The most fundamental difference between different operation modes is their power generation difference. Of course, the initial investment and operation and maintenance costs will also vary.
