Worm Gear Slewing Drive Description
A worm gear slewing drive unit is a compactly constructed unit which consists of a slewing gear, base and worm. This unit brings the advantages of a slewing gear and a worm into one unit.
The single axis vertical slew drives are mounted vertically, it is specifically designed for flat single axis solar tracking systems that require tracking towards the sun for east to west. The precise rotation of the vertical slew drive allows the mechanism to track perfectly. This kind of vertical slewing drive is manufactured using the latest technology which incorporates hourglass mechanism.

Customized Services

In addition, in the case of low temperature and large temperature difference between day and night, the large temperature difference between day and night will cause the air to condense and condense water droplets at night after being heated and expanded. In this case, the swellability of the product is also considered in addition to the tightness. Therefore, measures should be taken in the design and manufacturing process to avoid rusting.
In some places, the temperature can reach minus 40 degrees Celsius when the temperature is low, and the extreme temperature in high temperature can reach about 50 degrees Celsius above zero (at this time, the operating temperature of the reducer is higher). To keep the reducer running normally, especially under severe cold conditions, lubricity must be guaranteed. Therefore, the lubricating oil with wide temperature technology can generally adapt to the low temperature of minus 40 to minus 60 degrees Celsius, and can withstand the high temperature of minus 80 degrees Celsius or even more than 100 degrees Celsius.
Sunlight radiation can have certain effects on the product, such as the aging of rubber. This problem can be solved by using mechanical seals to avoid the core components being exposed to sunlight for a long time.
