SE17 Horizontal Single Axis Worm Gearbox, IP66 Class For Open Field PV Tracker
Single Axis Worm Gearbox
A solar trackers maximizes the solar system’s electricity production by moving the panels to follow the sun throughout the day, which optimizes the angle at which your panels receive solar radiation. Solar trackers are typically used for ground-mounted large solar plant.
There are various types of single-axis type of solar collectors such as vertical single axis solar tracker, horizontal tracker, titled solar trackers etc. The SE slewing drives are widely used in single axis solar tracking system because of its high performance and easy installation.

Applications
Flat oblique single axis solar tracking system
"Flat oblique single", or "flat uniaxial with inclination" is the product of the combination of the above two modes. In fact, the flat inclined single should belong to the category of the flat single axis, its rotation axis is horizontal, and his entire tracking system can follow the flat single axis system. The difference is that each component on its axis of rotation has a certain inclination to the south.
Although the flat-inclined single shaft combines some of the advantages of the flat single-axis and the inclined single-axis, in practical applications, due to its own characteristics, there are also points that need to be paid attention to:
1. Since the shortcomings of the flat uniaxial low radiation receiving efficiency for low solar altitude angles are more obvious in the middle and high latitudes, the flat oblique uniaxial is also more suitable for the middle and high latitudes;
2. Unlike the horizontal single-axis system where the components are continuously arranged in the north-south direction, in the horizontal-inclined single-axis system, since the components are inclined to the south, it is necessary to simulate and determine the north-south spacing between the components;
3. Since the module is tiled to the optimal inclination angle, the growth rate of radiation reception is gradually reduced. At the same time, because the inclination angle is too large, the distance between the north and south of the module is too large, which increases the land occupation and bracket cost. Therefore, in the flat-inclined single system, it is enough to raise the inclination angle of the components by an appropriate amount, and the inclination angle should not be too large.
