Tthickener is designed based on GBM10605+2008 and B/T:11004-2010 technical requirement.
Thickener equipment is a new designed full automatic, hi-efficient and continuously operation dewatering equipment based on countercurrent settling, sedimentary compression theory and combined with inclined plate and flocculant assisting settlement technology. It has characteristics of small footprint, big unit processing capacity, widely application, high density of tailings, clean overflow and easy for full automatic control.
The whole equipment is consisted of tank, drive, material feeding, drainage section, rake and rake lifting device. New structure and control are much convienece to speed up the material settling, increase capacity per unit area and reduce the turbidity of overflow.
It is widely use for solid slurry concentration and clarification in metallurgy, mining, coal industry, steel plant, chemical industry, construction materials, cement plant and sewage treatment etc. areas.

It is mainly for concentration of fine mine, washing, dewatering and tailings in wet mineral separation, it is also widely used for concentration and purification in coal industry, steel plant, chemical industry, construction materials, cement, sewage treatment, etc.
During the thickening process, particles suspended in slurry is settled under the gravity force. At the settlement moment, the particles sink at acceleration by gravity function. After that, due to the water resistant, the acceleration of particle reduced, till the resistant force is same with particle gravity. Then the gravity keeps a constant settlement rate, which is called the final settling velocity.
If the density of thicken slurry is small, it can ignore the collision and interreference between particles during settlement process. We call this free settling.
If the density of thicken slurry is big, the mechanical resistant between particles during settlement process will be big. We call this interreference settling.
The settling speed of free settling is fast than interreference one.
During the continuous thickening equipment, the settlement and concentration can be divided into clarifying section, settling section, pressing section and squeezing section.
Due to the difference between feeding and drainage, the dynamic balancing status is destroyed, the height of sections changed. To ensure the thickening process operating smoothly, the height of clarifying section: ≥ 0.2~0.3m, height of settling section: ≥ 0.3~0.5m,
