SBR Conveyor Medium Belt Filter 2400mm Width Sludge Filtration Process
Belt filter design is crafted using manufacturer design and performance data, operating installation, pilot testing, surveys of similar plants and testing of the wastewater solids to obtain a desired dewatered solid percentage from the slurdge or slurry to be processed.
AABelt filters have 4 main zones:
Preconditioning zone, gravity drainage zone, linear compression (low-pressure) zone and roller compression (high pressure) zone.
Belt filters are very versatile and are made to suit the sludges, slurries or mashed fruit to be processed. For a feed or treatment process which produces unpleasant odours, volatile emissions, pathogens and hazardous gases like hydrogen sulphide the belt filter can include fume hoods or even be completely enclosed in a gas tight housing.
Assembled frame block-design, it is very easy for transportation, installation and maintenance. |
High automatic control; continuously automatic control of feeding, filtration, washing, dewatering, discharging, cloth washing; improve productivity efficiency; reduce operation cost; reduce the working strength of labors; improve working environment. |
Convenience filtrating process; by adjusting the thickness of cake, amount of washing water, countercurrent washing grade, vacuum degree and speed of cloth can achieve to a best filtration efficient. |

Q: What is Belt Filter?
A: A common piece of industrial equipment used in solid-liquid separation processes, such as sludge dewatering in the water and wastewater treatment industries, is the belt filter. The most popular filtering technique involves passing a series of filtering belts or cloth through a roller unit.
Q: What is the purpose of a Belt filter?
A: Water is removed from liquid wastewater residuals using belt filter presses, which creates “cake,” a non-liquid substance. Dewatering wastewater solids improves operation, lowers costs for further storage, processing, transfer, end use, or disposal, and decreases the volume of residuals.
Q: What are the types of filter systems?
A: Mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration are the three basic forms of filtering.
