ASTM B164 Standard Nickel Copper Alloy N05500 Wire 1288-1343 ℃ Melting Point
Product Introduction
Monel K500 wire is a high-performance nickel copper based alloy wire that combines the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 alloy, and achieves higher strength and hardness through the addition of aluminum and titanium and age hardening treatment. Its main components include about 63% nickel, 30% copper, and small amounts of elements such as aluminum and titanium. M
The onel K500 wire has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater, saltwater, acidic solutions, and alkaline solutions. Its tensile strength can reach over 1100 MPa, yield strength is usually around 790 MPa, and hardness can reach Rockwell C hardness values of 28-38. In addition, Monel K500 wire also performs well in low-temperature environments, maintaining high strength and toughness, making it suitable for low-temperature applications such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) transportation equipment. Widely used in fields such as marine engineering, oil and gas industry, chemical industry, and aerospace, it is used to manufacture key components such as ship components, oil drilling equipment, pump shafts, and marine valves.
