UNS N04400 Standard Nickel Based Alloy Monel 400 Wire 520 MPa Tensile Strength
Product Introduction
Monel 400 wire is a high-performance nickel copper based alloy wire, mainly composed of about 63% nickel (Ni) and 31.5% copper (Cu), with small amounts of iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), silicon (Si), carbon (C) and other elements. This unique chemical composition endows Monel 400 wire with excellent corrosion resistance, especially in saltwater and various acidic environments.
Monel 400 wire has excellent mechanical properties, including high strength and good toughness, making it suitable for high-strength loads and extreme low-temperature environments. Its low magnetic permeability makes it suitable for environments that require non-magnetic properties, such as marine equipment and aviation. Monel 400 wire is widely used in the fields of petrochemicals, marine engineering, nuclear industry, etc., for manufacturing subsea pipelines, oil well production pipes, seawater treatment equipment, etc.
