Rigid boxes, also known as custom gift boxes, are perfect for high end or luxury products. These boxes are made with thick paperboard and can either be rigid or collapsible. Choose from two piece rigid boxes with a separate lid and base, or opt for a one-piece magnetic rigid box.

Question 1: What materials do you use for rigid boxes?

Kraft rigid boxes use kraft paper and white rigid boxes are made with solid bleached sulphate (SBS) paper. The thickness of the rigid box would depend on the size of the rigid box, which can range anywhere from 600-1500gsm.

Question 2: What standard finishes do you provide for rigid boxes?

Kraft rigid boxes are uncoated, and all other rigid boxes come with a matt or glossy lamination. The standard lamination used is made with thin plastic. To upgrade to eco-friendly lamination, get in touch with us for a custom quote!

Question 3: Will it cost more to print in Pantone?

Yes it will. Our quoted pricing assumes print in CMYK. Do let us know which Pantone colors you'd like us to use and we can get back to you!

Rigid box style:
1 Full Cover Lid 2 piece rigid box made with rigid cardboard. The lid fully covers the base.
2 Partial Cover Lid 2 piece rigid box made with rigid cardboard. The lid partially covers the base.
3 Rigid Setup Boxes These rigid boxes resemble a standard shoebox where the lid covers just a small top of the box.
4 Shoulder and Neck Rigid Box A tray is glued inside the base and protrudes out (the neck) from the base (the shoulder). The lid can cover the neck fully or partially.
5 Magnetic Lid Rigid Box Also called hinged boxes, a tray is glued to the base and the lid includes magnets to securely close the box.
6 Collapsible Magnetic Lid Rigid Boxes A collapsible version of a magnetic lid box where the tray is glued to the base and the lid includes magnets to securely close the box.
7 Rigid Drawer Box with Ribbon: A ribbon is used to slide the drawer of this rigid box out from the sleeve.
8 Rigid Drawer Box with Thumb Hole: A thumb hole is used to slide the drawer of this rigid box out from the sleeve.
