Identification/Area of Application

Med Accessories’s oximetry sensors are indicated for use in continuous noninvasive monitoring of arterial oxygen saturation and pulse
rate.They are fully compatible replacement sensors intended for use with major brands of pulse oximeter. The models of Med Accessories
Reusable sensors for the following four categories of patients: adult (weight greater than 30 kg), pediatric (10-50 kg weight), infant (3-20 kg
weight), and neonatal/adult (weight less than 3 kg or greater than 40kg).The SpO2 sensor is designed to match the specifications of the
original equipment manufacturer, therefore ensure the appropriative sensor model number is selected for a particular pulse oximeter
technology.
- Accuracy range: SpO2 range (70%~100%) --- ±3%;
- Pulse rate declared accuracy range: 30~245bpm, ±2bpm
Usage Specifications:
- Operating temperature: 0~40℃
- Operating humidity: 15~85%RH
- Operating hyperbaric pressure: 86~106kPa
- Storage and transportation temperature: -20~+55℃
- Storage and transportation humidity: 10~85%RH
- Storage and transportation hyperbaric pressure: 86~106kPa

Remind:

When you choose a Spo2 sensor, please carefully check the following points:

1) Is the Spo2 sensor connector actually compatible with your patient monitor socket? 5 or 6 pins.

2) Is the patient terminal the type you want? Snapshot or clip?

Are the sensors used for the right people? Such as adults or newborns.

Application:

*The sensor and its cable must be cleaned before each patient

*Place the sensor on the index finger ensuring the finger is fully inserted and the tip of the finger rests against the finger stop inside the sensor

*Possible alternate sites are small-sized thumb, middle and ring fingers as well as the little finger or the big toe

*Ensure the fingernail is located under the finger stop on the SpO2 sensor clamp.

*The sensor must not be located on the same arm as the blood pressure cuff, arterial catheter or intravascular line.

*Remove all nail polish as this can effect accuracy

*Do not use the sensor inside or near an MRI.

*Avoid having intense light sources near the sensor

*For long-term use, the measurement site must be changed every 4 hours in order to guarantee the integrity of the patients skin
