This ripstop 75% Rayon 10.5% Nylon 11.5% Polyester 3% Spandex bengaline fabric features very small crosswise ribs formed by using fine warp yarns and coarse weft yarns and just enough stretch for added comfort and ease. Fabric is perfect for creating stylish dresses, suits, jackets, skirts and pants. Fabric has 30% vertical stretch (stretch along the warp) for added comfort and ease. In order to use the stretch of this fabric for garment ease, the pattern pieces will be laid out so the grainline runs across the fabric or along the weft.

This fabric does not really drape, so is good for structured styles such as circle skirts or fitted suits.
