Spot Cooling Units cooling factories and workshops

Air conditioning entire factories and workshops is uneconomic. Their size, the heat generated by production processes, and cold air escaping through open doors, windows and loading bays demands the use of high capacity air conditioning systems which are both expensive to purchase and operate.

These spot cooler units are preferred because of their convenience and efficiency -- no water lines need to be introduced in the desired room. Our portable air conditioners use ambient air in the surrounding environment so they don’t need any kind of special intake system to operate. Industrial air coolers created from the refrigeration process is exhausted off the top of the unit and can be ducted into the ceiling plenum or directed out the nearest door or window to exit the room or space.

Spot Cooling Units

Rather than wasting energy air conditioning the entire building, spot cooling units can be installed to lower the temperature in problem ‘hot spots’. For instance to:

1. Cool machinery and equipment - such as label printing machinery, plastic forming machines, computers, etc. to prevent failures

2. Provide back up or additional cooling - to supplement the main air conditioning system during periods of abnormally high load, or during breakdowns and servicing.

3. Speed up production processes - cool finished products i.e. castings, mouldings etc.
