Description

WLDH Horizontal Ribbon Blender Mixer Powder Mixing Machine / Stainless Steel Double Helical Mixer

The Ribbon Mixer Series consists of five high performance trough format mixing machines for combining powders or pastes into a homogenous end product. They range in size from 100 litres capacity to 5000 litres. These blending machines use a thin mixing blade and carefully controlled motion to ensure that the materials are thoroughly combined, without dead spots. With stainless steel contact parts that are easy to clean, and mixing blades that are fully sealed at each end to avoid leakage, they are suitable for both dry powders and semi-liquid materials across a range of applications including the food and chemical industries.
Ribbon blenders are convective mixers. The mixture movement is forced by the rotation of the ribbon which is circulating the product in 2 directions: the ribbon is actually made in 2 parts, 1 external ribbon circulates the product in 1 direction while another ribbon located inside the 1st one moves the product in the other direction (it can be possible to have even more complex profiles to attempt optimizing the mixing efficiency and thus the mixing time). By mixing enough time, those 2 axial movement, coupled with some radial movement (blades "cutting" the material when rotating), will allow to reach the required degree of homogeneity. The twist of the helix must be studied by the manufacturer so that the direction in which the outer ribbons is pushing is towards the outlet valve of the mixer, if it is not the case, good discharging rate of the mixer cannot be achieved.

Discharging mode

Big open structure, using pneumatic materials has the advantages of fastdischarging, no residual; Adopt high fineness of materials or semiliquid materialusing manual buterly valve or pneumatic buterly valve. Configurable heating orcoling jacket, Heating mode has electric heating and heat conduction oil heatingin two ways. Cooling process can be directly to infuse water jacket and clip hotswap area is large, the cooling speed. Small type mixer adopts reducer directmode, simple structure, high operating rlialily. maintenance is convenient. Largenumber mixer adopts pulley drive the cycloid speed reducer drive, belt transmis-sion of elastic connection has the advantage of the overload protection whendriving part.
