The mesh belt dryer is conceptually very simple. Product is carried through the dryer on conveyors and hot air is forced through the bed of product. It is often described as simply a conveyor in a box with hot air. The reality, however, is that the belt dryer is one of the most versatile dryers available. Few drying technologies can match the belt dryer’s ability to handle such a wide range of products. Products as varied in composition, shape, and size as coated breakfast cereals, nuts, animal feed, charcoal briquettes, and rubber can be dried in a conveyor dryer.
Product Working Principle
The material is uniformly spread on the stainless steel net by feeder.The mesh belt uses generally 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire net and it is drawn and moved inside the dryer by a transferring device.The dryer is composed of several units.For each unit,hot air is circulated separately.In the first unit,air out from circulation air blower(5) passes through beside in to low unit after air is up and heated by steam heater(4)be shared by separator (3)the air is sprayed through mesh belt in to top of the machine.The drying process is hot air passes through the mesh belt covered with special moisture from the top to the bottom or from the bottom to the top.This will complete the heat and mass transfer process.The air pipe of the top is connected with a fan,some air is recycled,and some is exhausted.Exhausted gas is discharged with a special moisture elimination blower and other waster gas is controlled through and adjustment valve.The top and low circulation units can be freely equipped according to the users’ requirement.The unit number can be selected according to the demand.
