Horizontal fluidized bed dryer, also known as the fluidized bed dryer, mainly used for drying loosing powder or granular material. And it is widely worked as dryer in industry. This device is simple in structure, operate conveniently and has high thermal efficiency.It is widely used in chemical, mining, medicine, food, grain processing,feed, industrial and city sewage treatment industry.
After more than 20 years’use and improvement, nowadays, it has become a popular drying device in the fields of pharmaceutical, chemical, foodstuff, grain processing industry and so on. It consists of air filter, fluid bed, cyclone separator, dust collector, high-speed centrifugal fan, control cabinet and so on.
Because of the difference of property of the raw material, it is necessary to equip with the de-dusting system in accordance with the necessary needs. It may select both cyclone separator and cloth bag filter or only choose one of them. In general, if the bulk density of the raw material is heavy, it may choose the the cyclone , if the raw material is light in the bulk density , it can choose bag filter for collecting it. The pneumatic conveying system is available on request. There are two kinds of operations for this machine--- continuous and intermittent type.

Working principle:
Using the principle of fluidization,the solid particles suspended in a hot gas drying medium in the drying process. The granular solid material is fed to fluidized bed dryer by the feeder. The blower will blows the filtered clean hot air heated into the fluidized bed at the bottom of the distribution plate and fluidization to gas-solid heat and mass exchange to heat the solid material. And the heat medium fully contact with the solid particles to be dried. Because the material agitates violently, the gas film resistance greatly reduced, therefore,the drying intensity is very high. After heated by air filter and heater, the air is conveyed into the bottom of a small chamber by each branch, and enter into the drying chamber through the perforated plate,drying the perforated mesh screen until the materials is fluidizing dried. The dried material is discharged from the discharge outlet. The exhaust gas is discharged from the top of the fluidized bed and the solid power will be collected by the cyclone separator or cloth bag duster.
Meanwhile going through the cyclone separator and bag filter,the exhaust air finally goes out from the top of drying chamber and discharged by the fan.
Automatic production can be realized. It is a kind of continuous drying equipment. It is quick in drying speed, low in drying temperature, it can guarantee the quality of products and is in conformity with the requirements of GMP.

Adapted materials:
Horizontal multi-chamber fluidized bed is suitable for the average particle ranging the size of granular, powder, bulk and drying heat sensitive materials from 50 to 5000 microns. It can be widely used in chemical, mining, medicine, food processing, food, feed, industrial and the city sewage treatment industry.
Application:
Drying process of medicines, chemical raw material, foodstuff, grain processing, feed and so on. For example, raw medicine, tablet, Chinese medicine, foodstuff of health protection, drinks, maize germ, feed, resin, citric acid and other powders. The suitable diameter of raw material is normally 0.1-0.6mm. The most applicable diameter of raw material will be 0.5-3mm.

Installation Instructions:
1. The equipment should be placed in level, fixed by the foundation bolt, and parts should be with good sealing.
2. The fan can be set outside room or put it in the separated room
3. The layout can be adjusted based on the site condition.

Notes:
1. Indoor temperature: ~300 oC.
2. If bed area is bigger than 4m2, then the dryer is mainly used in the field of medicine; If bed area is between 5m2 ~20m2,then the dryer is Mainly used in the chemical field.
3. The drying capacity is measured based on the primary moisture of crystal of plum is 20% and its final moisture is 5% and the temperature of air inlet is 130℃ .The drying capacity of other raw materials will be based on the practical drying condition. When choosing models, please note that: Model A should be matched with cyclone separator and Model B with inside bag dust collector and Model C with cyclone separator and bag dust collector.
